"Moraine Lake holds you spellbound; awesome in its wild grandeur, sublime in
its measure of
heights and depths."

Others who came to this area,
for example, (in 1884) Mystic,
Madame Helina Blavatsky,
was aware of the
spiritual significance of this
etheric wilderness and the
Angelic Presence that graces
its heavenly essence.

Lord Mikael designated
this equisite site, the
"Abode of Angels"
Abode of Angels (Moraine Lake - with orbs (see left)
"I have spent many hours on the Rockpile overlooking the "Abode of Angels" at various times of the year. Perhaps one of the most beautiful moments spent there, was early one April, when the ice had not yet totally melted upon the lake. In the forefront, there were patches of the emerald-green waters, completely surrounded by the stark contrast of the crystalline brilliance of the ice. Except for rocky outcroppings, the mountains were also covered in snow. The entire scene was mesmeric ... stunning, indescribable!

"Each year when the spring snows finally melt and the road to Moraine Lake is clear, I cannot wait to once again glimpse upon this most pristine, peaceful, turquoise haven. Here one can truly feel the kiss of the angels upon the breeze."
